College Counseling

You can do it alone, but you don’t have to.

We provide a highly personalized approach to the college application process. Starting as early as 7th grade, we offer consultation on course selection, extracurricular activities, and summer enrichment opportunities. However, the core of consulting for college admissions begins the summer prior to 11th grade as students decide on their standardized testing paths, explore colleges and majors, and fine tune their resumes.

There are many paths to success, and at Renaissance Kids, Inc., we walk with students to help them discover their unique next right step.

Whether your student is highly independent or your family needs an empathetic guide to walk you through every detail and keep you on track.

College Counseling

The college application process can be daunting. At Renaissance, we know that each child and each family needs an individual approach to the process. Before junior year, we help students select their high school courses, balance their time between academic and extracurricular commitments, explore potential careers and suggest internships and summer programs to aid in that process. As the student moves into their junior year, we develop a college list, organize the application process with a detailed timeline, refine their resume, practice for interviews, strategize recommendation letters, consider additional materials for portfolios for music/art/scientific research/athletics, discuss scholarships and financial aid, and assist with appeals and wait list strategies.

If you are applying for college, graduate school, or a professional program such as PA or Medical school, we can help you find your voice and refine your message. With over 25 years of experience in helping students craft their essays,
